| Background | On 25th August 2003, Myanmar signed the Copenhagen Declaration on Anti-Doping in Sport. The declaration was drafted and agreed by governments at the Second World Conference on Doping in Sport held in Copenhagen, Denmark, in March 2003. It recognizes the role of Anti-Doping and supports the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the World Anti-Doping Code. On 25th February 2004, Myanmar signed the World Anti-Doping Code. Now, MADO working committee is actively engaged in fighting against doping in sports in Myanmar. q |
